I’m Kenny, from Ipoh.
About me
I grew up in an ordinary family. It started as a two-parent home, and after some changes in life it became a single-parent one. Through all of it, I’ve wanted to be able to stand on my own feet.
By day I work in the production industry. After work, I build things with AI. It began early this year, while I was studying computer science, when I discovered vibe coding. I believe AI is where the future is going, so I chose to keep digging into it and kept making things in my spare time.
Close to home, I’ve seen what happens when a food business has no proper record system and no standard way of making things: every product comes out a little different. That’s the problem I want to fix first, with a simple SOP system for recipes, portions and steps.
Projects
Nextup Hackathon 2025, Bronze. A free learning platform for SPM students, built by a team of five with Duolingo-style gamification.
My part was the backend: user registration, login and authentication, password encryption in the database, the database connection, and the navigation that links every page together. I also presented the project on competition day.
